The New Job

My new job is stressful but what’s really hard to deal with is my new life here in Texas. I really miss all of my family and friends but I’m starting to get used to being out of my element. I went online to look into fixed rate energy (Click here) when I first got here and immediately hired an accountant since the taxes are so different. The people have been nice but they’re all pretty much from here so it’s been hard for me to break into the circles that are already so established. I know I’m going to have to suck it up and get used to it and that I should just be happy for the new job but I can’t help but wonder what life would be like if I were still back home in Connecticut with everyone I know and love. It’s all part of the process though, so I’ll figure it when the time comes, I suppose…that’s what you’re supposed to do, am I right?
